black is beautiful
In spite of Barak Obama victory as USA president, we noticed since few years the fade of the colored skin in fashion industry.
it's not because there's no place for black models.
More than 90% of advertisings and fashion shows are color
free.
Since 20 years, we are use to see 2 or 3 black models on fashion
shows. 2 new faces each seasons.
today, only one is doing all the shows: Chanel-Iman
It's not because there's no place for black models.
Some brands love them as: Baby Phat, Jean Paul Gaultier, Ayssy.
But the others brands have forgotten what they like with black
models:
-The beauty
-The elegance
-The skin which match with any kind of materials and colors.
We hope that after Obama's election the brands and model agencies will
have different opinion about dark skins and employ them.
